Surprise! A better body doesn’t come from eating less and exercising more.
It comes from the strategic action of fueling yourself properly and lifting heavy weights.
That’s it.
A better body doesn’t come from being skinny.
You can starve yourself all day long and still have jiggly arms, a muffin top, and mushy thighs.
But when you focus on body recomposition, rather than just getting skinny, you can drop fat, increase muscle mass and tone, and overall look better.
It takes work.
It takes trusting the process.
It takes time.
You’ll likely have to go through all 4 phases of nutrition periodization:
- Cut – where you’re dieting and eating less than you’re burning
- Reverse – where you’re bringing your calories up slowly and ‘recovering’ from your cut
- Maintain – where your calories in equal your calories out and you fuel yourself well
- Bulk – where you’re eating more than you burn to build muscle and grow
And you may have to go through some of those phases more than once.
But once you have, believe me, you’ll love the end result!
