How long does weight loss take?

Ever wonder how long it’ll take you to reach your weight loss goals?

Many women believe that they can lose weight quickly. Especially when they read about diet plans that should have them 10lbs down in 10 days or less. 

Oh yea, diet culture has got us all in a mad dash to the finish line.

But the truth is, it does NOT happen like that. And it shouldn’t. Not if you want long-lasting results.

That’s why I teach macros.

 Not NOOM, not Keto, not Detoxes.

 Real food for real people.

 It’s perfectly normal to ‘only’ lose 0.5-1lb per week. And because of fluctuations in our hormones due to menstruation, there may even be times when the scale plateaus or even (gasp!) goes up.

 I’d much rather have a client with slow, steady weight loss who also enjoys the occasional cocktail with girlfriends or slice of birthday cake than one who eats way below her needs, drops a ton of weight in a short period, and damages her hormones and health along the way.

Macro Nutrition teaches you how to eat for life. It allows you to incorporate all kinds of foods into your daily nutrition plan while making positive progress toward your goals.

 These three things have helped me lose 154lbs and keep it off:

  1. Calculating and tracking macros.
  2. Strength training
  3. Getting adequate rest and managing my stress

 The Special K diet didn’t work, the Military diet didn’t work, the 1200 calorie diet didn’t work either.
