Wondering what an effective fat loss program looks like?

I wondered too! Especially after YEARS of struggling as an overweight teen and adult, jumping from diet to diet, trying to finally shed the pounds.

I discovered the “secret,” dropped 150lbs, and have kept it off for 15  years.

I’ve also shared that same news with over 2,000  people over the past 7 years and helped them lose a combined total of 30,000 pounds.

Now, I’m sharing it with you…Keep reading!

An effective fat loss program is NOT months and months (and months) of eating salads and grilled chicken, trying to omit as many grams of fat, and avoiding carbs at all costs.

An effective fat loss program is only being in a ‘reduced calorie phase’ for a handful of weeks at a time and only 1-2 times a year.

That’s IT!

If you do the math, that means you should be OUT of a diet more than you’re IN one.

Here’s what an effective fat loss program *should* look like:

Deficit – 8-16 weeks

Reverse – takes about 2-3 months

Maintenance – 6 months or longer

Hit Repeat.

As you can see, most of your time should be spent on maintenance.

You should only be on a diet for maybe 15-20ish weeks TOTAL out of the entire year.

Otherwise, you should be eating good. Real good!

Fun fact: those videos of ‘super fit girls’ eating 2500-300+ calories a day in those “What I Eat in a Day” reels do less dieting than the average person.

They literally live in maintenance, enjoy all the foods, exercise moderately, AND have bangin’ bodies to boot!

Somewhere along the way, someone taught them to get the h*ll off the diet and start eating the foods so they could maximize their metabolism.

And as a result, they can eat really well and look really great.

Even better than that, though? You can do that too!

Seriously.

Even if you’ve been slurping down green smoothies, comping on carrot sticks, and running like a hamster on the treadmill with nothing to show for it.

Being out of a diet will do your body better than forcing yourself to stay on one.

I promise you there’s a better way!

Are you on a diet that just isn’t working like it used to?
